Our Little Buddy

Nice Alligator!

We took my nieces and nephew to Avery Island today - this is where they make Tabasco Sauce. We drove around Jungle Gardens and Bird City and spotted this alligator sunning himself on the bank.

Statue on Top of the Church

On our way to Lafayette to see family for Christmas we made a stop in Natchitoches, LA for some lunch. We decided to walk around a little and stopped in at Immaculate Conception Church. I got this photo of the statue on top of the church.

Yucca Plant with Seed Pods

Daisy and Buddy

Daisy seems happy to have someone to play with. Buddy likes to jump on Daisy and bite her ears. She is very patient with him. They are both Blue Heeler mixes and I hope they grow up to be good friends.

Hi, My Name is Buddy

I got home from work today and Thomas was there with this little guy. He went to the Espanola Valley Humane Society and adopted him this afternoon. He is an Australian Cattle Dog Mix and looks a lot like Daisy.

A Mini Snowman

I took a walk today at the Black Canyon Campground and I found this tiny snowman on a picnic table. Isn't he great. Whoever made this little guy sure put a smile on my face.

An Afternoon Visitor

Today I looked out the window to the back of the house. I saw this coyote out under the Russian Olive tree. I grabbed my camera and quietly walked out the front of the house and around to the back. I had to take the pictures hiding on the side of the house and holding the camera around the corner using the screen to take the picture.
