Today I visited Rusk State Park (now known as Texas State Railroad Park). I liked the way these tracks just disappeared into the woods. I would have liked to have taken a ride on the train but I ran out of time.
This picture was taken in a cemetery in Waco, Tx. There are lots of objects that are considered cemetery symbols - each has a meaning. I think it is very interesting to look for these symbols.
I visited Fort Phantom Hill this morning. It is located north of Abilene. I took this picture of the Guardhouse and enjoyed looking at all the surviving chimney stacks.
I am in Texas and signs of spring are starting to appear. I encountered this beartiful flowering tree in Lubbock, TX.
Today I was walking downtown and came across this porch. I loved the way it looked and the way the corners came together. I enjoy looking at all the architecture in Santa Fe.
This evening I took a walk around the propery and eventually ended up walking in the arroyo. This is one of my favorite places to walk as it is really peaceful.
