Our garden is beginning to come back to life. Today I took some time and looked at the lilacs. They have buds all over them - I can't wait until they are fully bloomed.
Today I took a walk and noticed the beautiful clouds. The New Mexico sky is always wonderful to view. I ended up watching the sky for an hour.
These are the last remnants of winter in the garden - I took a picture last summer of these in bloom and I had a hard time identifying them. I came up with Ballhead Waterleaf or Hydrophyllum capitatum but I am not sure if this is right. Anyway, the garden is turning greener each day and these dried flowers will soon disappear.
This evening I looked out the back door and just loved the way the Sangre de Cristos looked as the sun was setting. So I took this picture of the view from my back door.
What better photo for St. Patrick's Day than one of Beleek pottery. We have this beautiful little sugar dish with simple little clovers on it. I love the delicateness of the piece.
We have about four pots of geraniums on the enclosed porch. They are in full bloom at the moment. I just love the way this pink one looks.
I took a little walk around the railyard today. I spotted this tree and loved the shadow it was casting against the wall.
